Italian football veterans said that Mourinho underestimated Serie C, and Roma players played Serie C enough.

Mourinho said to the players in the dressing room: Are you afraid of big games? That can go to Serie A and play, where there is no pressure, no championships, no stadiums. You guys don't have the guts, and that's the worst thing for men.

Italian football veterans said that Mourinho underestimated Serie C, and Roma players played Serie C enough.

However, a veteran of Italian football, Romano Perticone, said Mourinho underestimated the pressure of the Italian series.

Romano Perticone, 35, has played in Serie A, Serie B and Serie C. He made more than 300 appearances in Serie B, more than 50 in Serie C and 27 in Serie A. Romano Perticone also briefly played for AC Milan.

On social media, Romano Perticone said pressure would also be felt in the Italian Serie C. He wrote: "In the C league, they spat at me in the face, poked my eyes with their fingers, threatened me in the players' tunnel. This is not going to happen in Serie A.
