Jiwei Network News, Avanci recently announced that LG Electronics has joined the Avanci patent pool as a licensor, and all existing Avanci licensees and future licensees who join Avanci will be licensed for 4G, 3G and 2G standard essential patents created and owned by LG Electronics.
It is understood that through its automotive parts solutions business, LG Electronics has become a global supplier to the automotive industry, leading the market in the development of automotive connectivity solutions and advanced components for electric vehicles and services.
Kasim Alfalahi, Founder and CEO of Avanci, said: "We are delighted to be the licensor of Avanci, which has long been an innovator and contributor to mobile communication standards."

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Avanci is a wireless patent licensing platform jointly launched by five IT giants such as Ericsson, Qualcomm and ZTE, providing one-stop solutions for automotive and Internet of Things manufacturers, according to public information. The Avanci patent pool currently has 49 licensors.
