The second season continues the core of "Chinese acrobatics are young", continues to do cross-border integration attempts, and invites guests from different fields to serve as starlight boosters, through their diverse perspectives, to show the new style of acrobatics in an all-round way.
Dance artist Huang Doudou is committed to telling the story of China through dance and has won many international awards. In the program, he will explore the integration of acrobatic culture and artistic aesthetics with the contestants, and help the contestants polish the ultimate stage.
Wu Zhengdan and Wei Baohua, the founders of "Ballet on the Shoulders", will strictly control the acrobats from a professional point of view. Xing Dixi: The first season of the show seeks to achieve a "circle-breaking" effect after the combination of acrobatics and other arts, which is accepted by more young people. The second season will return more to the comprehensive artistic expression of acrobatics. Therefore, the whole schedule is set around "whether the contestant can become a good acrobatic actor". Through a four-course competition, the contestants will integrate acrobatics with other arts and innovate, and finally perform a small play to present their performance in the form of a repertoire. The repertoire has higher requirements for the actors as a whole, in addition to acrobatic performances, there must also be emotional expression, as well as singing, dancing, martial arts and so on, which acrobats are not good at. We will decide in the end a champion who can reach this level or has such potential.
Yangcheng Evening News: The contestants in the last season were considered to have snared the "ceiling" of the domestic acrobatic world, do the contestants in the second season have any new features?
Xing Dixi: This season we received more than 300 applications from home and abroad, and finally carefully selected 30 groups. Many of them are unique in their technical skills as a "folk ceiling" – the only team in the world, or this person, can do such technical skills. This time, more players participated in the group as a unit, and you can see the different styles and strengths of each group. Some players have very comprehensive skills, not only with the bucket to do well, the top skills are also very good, the songs are also very good, but also can create their own songs... All in all, lots of surprises.
Yangcheng Evening News: This season's guests include Wu Wei and his wife, Huang Doudou, and Huang Ling, what are the considerations in inviting guests?
Xing Dixi: Teacher Huang Doudou and Teacher Wu Zhengdan Wei Baohua, one is a famous male dancer in China, and the other is the founder of "Shoulder Ballet", they can be regarded as "ceiling" in terms of professionalism and artistic achievement. Why did you ask Huang Ling to come over? Because in the process of contact, we found that Huang Ling is a multi-habitat artist, in addition to singing, movies, TV series, as well as operas, musicals, and even dance dramas, Huang Ling has acted. From the perspective of a young person, she can evaluate "whether this performance is what I like, and whether the emotional clues expressed are not what I follow." Since Huang Ling didn't know much about acrobatics, we invited Chen Lei, a Grand Slam player from the previous season, to be her assistant and popularize knowledge for her during the performance, which can also help the audience understand the relevant knowledge of acrobatics.
