The Winter Olympic Medical Security Center treats patients with "acute renal failure"

Since the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Yanqing Competition Area has continued to strengthen medical protection and treated a foreign patient with "acute kidney failure".

On February 11, a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily learned from Yanqing District that more than ten days ago, a 58-year-old foreign male patient came to the Winter Olympic Medical Security Center for "abdominal pain and diarrhea for 3 days". Through video-linked multidisciplinary consultation and discussion, medical staff initially diagnosed patients with acute renal failure, which is life-threatening at any time. Medical personnel immediately carried out rescue.

At 4:00 a.m., after more than ten consecutive hours of rescue, the patient's breathing gradually stabilized. In the following days, under the careful treatment of various experts and medical staff, the patient's condition tended to be stable, and he was recently discharged from the hospital.
