Li Lin searched on the Internet, and the chairman of the medical supplies company was indeed called by this name. Li Lin immediately said that he had ordered.

Yiting asked for 50,000 yuan to start, with a unit price of 2.4 yuan, requiring first payment and then delivery. Because the supply of masks was in short supply at that time, Li Lin agreed and transferred 120,000 yuan to the designated account of "Yiting". When signing the purchase and sale agreement, Li Lin checked the ID card of "Yi Ting" and found that "Yi Ting", whose real name was Liu Ting. The next day, Liu Ting also said that she did not want to recharge, and asked her to refund another 5,000 yuan, the remaining 5,000 yuan was used to recharge and buy clothes, and Lu Kai transferred 5,000 yuan, a total of 9,500 yuan.

Liu Ting often eats at a restaurant in Chen Ping, Guangfeng District, claiming to be a staff member of the bank's credit department. On the evening of May 12, 2020, Liu Ting claimed that she had a relationship and could get the internal price of Gree air conditioners when she was eating, and the cylindrical vertical air conditioners only needed 3500 yuan, enough for 7 units to be shipped.

Chen Ping wanted to buy two, deduct Liu Ting's meal fee of 660 yuan, and transfer 6340 yuan to Liu Ting. On May 24, Liu Ting claimed that the WeChat transfer function was frozen, because of the urgent need for money, Chen Ping was asked to transfer money to WeChat, and also asked Chen Ping to provide a bank card number, and then check out with more than 2,000 yuan of rice money. In order to reassure Chen Ping, Liu Ting sent a transfer picture from a PS to Chen Ping, and Chen Ping was cheated out of a total of 15900 yuan.

On May 3, 2020, Liu Ting sent her clothes to a dry cleaning shop in Guangfeng District, and learned in a small chat with the owner Wu Qian that she wanted to open a branch, but lacked funds. Liu Ting immediately claimed that she worked at China Merchants Bank and could help with the payment, and pretended to ask for relevant information.

The next day, Liu Ting told her that she could handle a loan of 200,000 yuan, but to express it, Wu Qian immediately transferred 5,000 yuan to her. On May 10, Liu Ting said that she had given the president 8,000 yuan and asked Wu Qian to pay 3,000 yuan in advance in the name of repairing the car, and Wu Qian was only willing to transfer 1,000 yuan. After that, Wu Qian asked about the progress of the loan, and Liu Ting sent a picture of PS transferring 275,000 yuan to the bank.

From September 2017 to October 2019, Liu Ting also posed as a bank staff member, falsely claiming to know the leaders of the prison department, helping to handle loans, partnering in english training classes, kindergarten classes, etc., and defrauding many people of nearly 800,000 yuan in cash.

In January 2021, the Guangfeng District Procuratorate of Shangrao City indicted Liu Ting on suspicion of fraud, accusing her of defrauding others of 2,099,700 yuan. On March 21, 2021, the Guangfeng District Court ruled in the first instance that Liu Ting had committed fraud, sentenced her to 12 years' imprisonment and fined 100,000 yuan, and ordered Liu Ting to return the victim's economic losses.
