The West Lake was once the cradle of Fuzhou goldfish, and in the 1950s, the Fuzhou goldfish exhibited in the Golden Scale Garden was one of the ten scenic spots of the West Lake, which has also become a good memory for generations of Fuzhou people. Today, Fuzhou Goldfish has returned to West Lake Park again, exhibiting more than 20 goldfish varieties and more than 200 exquisite goldfish, attracting many citizens to come and see the charm of goldfish at close range.
On the morning of the 9th, the reporter came to the Morning Sun Square of West Lake Park, and a group of fish tanks were neatly arranged, and the front of each fish tank was crowded with citizens who came to visit.
On the fish with orange and yellow background color, the black stripes are arranged in intervals, like tiger stripes, and the goldfish tanks of the two varieties of "tiger stripes Fushou" and "Yuanbao Tiger Striped Lion's Head" are endlessly visited by visitors.

These small animal-like goldfish are loved by children, who gather around the fish tank and curiously look at these rare goldfish species. Next to each group of fish tanks, an exhibition board was also set up to popularize the variety and related knowledge of goldfish to the public, so that everyone could feast their eyes and enhance their understanding of Fuzhou goldfish.

"The world's goldfish look at China, and the Chinese goldfish look at Fuzhou." Fuzhou has more than 400 years of goldfish farming history and enjoys the reputation of "China's Goldfish Capital". According to reports, Fuzhou has more than ten major categories such as Lanshou, Lion's Head, Tiger Head, Liujin, Pompom, Butterfly Tail, Pearl, Dragon's Eye, etc., more than 80 strains, known for its "large, beautiful shape and color", and beijing goldfish and Hangzhou goldfish and called "China's three major schools of goldfish".
It is understood that as one of the series of activities of Fuzhou Goldfish "Entering Ten Thousand Homes", the goldfish exhibition will last until February 16. Starting from the West Lake Park Goldfish Exhibition, the 2022 Fuzhou Goldfish into Ten Thousand Homes series of activities will be opened, so that more Fuzhou citizens will understand goldfish, bounty fish and love goldfish.
