Recently, an 88-year-old grandma Li in Xuhui District encountered a bad thing, and she lived on the 3rd floor because of the leaking bathroom and the neighbors on the 2nd floor. When she was helpless, she suddenly thought of the emergency maintenance card issued to the old comrades by the Old Cadre Bureau of the Xuhui District Cpc Committee, and immediately called and asked for the help of the exclusive maintenance master.
The exclusive maintenance staff of Xufang Maintenance Center immediately rushed to Grandma Li's house and quickly found the cause of the water leakage. After investigation, it was found that the bathroom bathtub in Grandma Li's home was aging, causing the problem of water leakage. Considering that the leakage of water may cause various hidden dangers, at this time to enter the coldest period of the year, in order to make Grandma Li's bath safer, the maintenance staff immediately decided to propose a construction plan - dismantling the bathtub and changing it into a shower room. With Grandma Li's consent, the maintenance staff began the dismantling of the bathtub... From dismantling nearly 300 pounds of large bathtubs and moving them to the bottom of the building, to purchasing cement and yellow sand for construction, to selecting shower equipment, until cleaning up the site after completion, the maintenance personnel took care of the construction in only one week under the authorization of Grandma Li.
In a return visit to the quality of service, Grandma Li said: "The maintenance masters have solved the problems of house maintenance for us for many years, and we trust them 100%. Their timely appearance solved our headache problems all at once! Many old comrades also reflected that through the establishment of an exclusive maintenance worker system, maintenance masters and old comrades became more and more familiar, became confidants, and would take the initiative to inquire, listen to opinions, solve difficulties, or chat about home during the typhoon flood season.
It was this feeling that made Grandma Li, who was visually impaired, insist on writing a 4-page thank-you letter with a magnifying glass. In fact, in recent years, old comrades like Grandma Li have expressed their gratitude to the Old Cadre Bureau of the Xuhui District Committee and the Xufang Maintenance Center more than once. The old comrades also specifically mentioned the exclusive maintenance staff, praising them for doing ordinary work, but they were as dedicated as the models of the times.
It is reported that the service project praised by Grandma Li and the old comrades is the "raising" protection of the five guardians of the elderly Shencheng City implemented by the Old Cadre Bureau of the Xuhui District CPC Committee. Since 2008, the Xuhui District Committee Veteran Cadre Bureau has joined hands with Shanghai Xufang (Group) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Xufang Housing Maintenance And Repair Center to set up a special service platform, requiring the maintenance and emergency repair center to select a team with excellent professional technology, standardized operation procedures and high service attitude to provide indoor housing water and electricity emergency maintenance services for old comrades.
