Russian scientists have found the oldest ice on earth in Antarctica: it can predict climate change

The Russian Institute for Arctic and Antarctic Research released information that scientists have extracted the oldest ice on Earth from drilling wells above Lake Vostok in Antarctica, which is nearly 600,000 years old. Scientists say the bubbles contained in ice cores preserve the composition of the ancient atmosphere and can be used to assess the weather conditions of the earth millions of years ago and predict the future climate change of the earth.
