In addition to being a professional photographer, I probably liked the castle a bit. If there is such a thing. Over the years, I have developed a fondness for the old castles in beautiful places. I'm always a little sad when I find a nice castle surrounded by ugly houses or modern commercial buildings.
No matter how impressive the castle itself is, it will immediately destroy the authentic atmosphere of the castle. However, there are still some examples where little has changed over the centuries and it almost feels like a time traveler. These are the castles on my "Eternal Castles" list. There's a lot to collect, but here's my favorite.
