The Samsung Galaxy S22/Tab S8 series features an "armored aluminum" fuselage

As you may recall, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 body uses a material called "Armor Aluminum", and from Samsung's confirmation, the armored aluminum solution used in the foldable phone has also been adopted by the Galaxy S22 and Tab S8 series.

Although the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has the narrowest bezel to date, this should not affect the rigidity of its structure. Due to the use of armored aluminum, Samsung claims that the Galaxy Tab S8 series has a 40% lower bending probability than the Galaxy Tab S7.

No users have reported bending problems on the Galaxy Tab S7, but since the tablet is likely to deform as a result of being sitting on the butt, the use of new materials with higher strength is certainly a good thing, and if you accidentally sit on the Galaxy Tab S8, the likelihood of bending is about 40% less.

IT Home understands that while making these improvements, Samsung has also taken environmental issues into account, and both the Galaxy S22 series and the Tab S8 series have adopted some parts containing plastic recycled from discarded fishing nets. In addition, they are shipped in new eco-friendly packaging and are smaller than last year.
