In Japan, a private psychiatric hospital withdrew with the establishment of a large hospital.

The patients were gradually picked up and taken to better hospitals for treatment; the caregivers also took leave for various reasons and excuses... In the end there were only three patients left, in addition to a janitor, a caretaker, and the Akasawa dean and his wife, who lived in this mountain psychiatric hospital, which was gloomy.

What is even more chilling is that because of the poor operating conditions and the imminent bankruptcy, the dean's mood is getting worse and worse. He always yelled at the patients, threw tantrums at them, and even said things like "change your brain pulp", and the doormen and caretakers felt a little scared, afraid that sooner or later the dean would go crazy.

The three lunatics have their own characteristics.

One is called "Knock Knock", because he is very paranoid about kicking the wall panels in the ward, every day is "bang bang bang bang" kicks, day after day, the wall panels leave traces, and his feet are calloused;

One was called "The Wounded", who always felt that he had been seriously injured, and every day he was wrapped in gauze on his head, and no one was allowed to touch his "wounds" except that the dean could persuade him to clean up a little;

The third is called "Ge Ji", although he is a man who is five years old and three thick, he always likes to sing songs that are soft as water, and he always plays the audience, shouting that he sings well, and then another one.

One night, when the doorman was patrolling, he suddenly found that the door of the ward had been opened, and the three crazy people were gone. Even more frightening was that he found the dean's body—his head had been opened and his brain plasma had been taken away.

The police began to look around for crazy people, and the director of the municipal psychiatric hospital, Dr. Ph.D., was also called in to help with the advice, after all, it was three mentally ill people, in case they fell ill and the harm to the public was immeasurable.

According to the doctor's analysis, it is very likely that they always listened to the dean's words of "changing the brain pulp" and thus produced psychological hints, wanting to replace the brain plasma of the wise man Akasawa on their heads.

The question is where did they go?

Along with the search of the police, "Ge Ji" was found, there was no blood on him, he should not have participated in the killing of the dean, he was taken back to the mental hospital; then, someone in the city of the izakaya saw a person with a gauze wrapped around his head and covered with blood and "brain plasma", the police quickly caught him, was the "wounded"; and the last madman, "Tong Tong", was found on the rail tracks, his head rested on the tracks, has been crushed...

The policemen were lamenting the end of the three madmen, but the doctor who was examining the feet of "Bang Bang" took a cool breath: Is the body of The Akazawa Dean still in that mental hospital?

After getting the "yes" answer, they rushed to the hospital.

The Doctor examined the body of the "Dean" and asked the policeman to touch it too, and the policeman shouted: Isn't this the foot of the "Bang Bang"?!

It turned out that it was all the Dean's plan: he used three lunatics and made a bureau.

The dean's plan seems to be "seamless":

The Dean kills "Dou Dong" first, changes his clothes for him, and disguises him as the "Dean". Because the brain plasma was taken away by opening the head, the face could not be recognized at all, and everyone thought it was the dean;

Subsequently, he released "Goji" and "the wounded" from the hospital, and Goji was useless, leaving him to wander on his own.

He kills the "wounded" at the railroad tracks, then bandages himself, pretends to be the "wounded", and allows the police to take him back to the hospital, and in a few days there will be "relatives" to lead him away and fly away;

If all goes well, Akasawa's widow will close the hospital and exchange all her assets for cash. They also bought a huge amount of insurance for the dean in advance, and the widow would take the money to move to an unknown place and reunite with the dean...

His plan was meticulous, and the only loophole was that he killed "Tong Dong" as a "stand-in" first.

"Knock Knock" because of the perennial kicking of the wall panels, the toes are thick, and there are thick cocoons, as hard as stones - it is this small detail on the feet that reveals all the secrets of the dean.

Japanese writer Keiyoshi Osaka's "Three Madmen" tells a story that is crazier than a madman.

When a person's greed has swallowed up human nature, he can do things that are crazier than crazy people.
