On October 19, 1986, the 61st Division of the 21st Army, which was firmly at the Dongshan Of Bali River, organized a raid point operation code-named "34-1 Project Plan" on the 53rd Heights of the Vietnamese Army, and the Ninth Company of the 182nd Regiment (Iron Hammer Regiment) formed a commando team, with Deputy Company Commander Zhao Yizhong as the leader of the assault group, after nine hours of crawling 1600 meters, lurking under the eyes of the Vietnamese army, at 5:40 a.m., a surprise attack on the enemy was carried out, and after 3 hours of fierce fighting, 152 Vietnamese troops were killed and 12 enemy tun bing caves were destroyed. There are 29 light and dark fire points. Our commandos heroically killed 6 and wounded 16.

The 9th Company of the 182nd Regiment of the 61st Division was awarded the title of "Heroic Company for Attacking Tough Problems" by the Central Military Commission, Zhao Yizhong was awarded the title of "Hero of Battle" by the Central Military Commission, the second platoon and the third class were awarded the collective first class merit, 17 people were awarded the first class merit, 26 people were awarded the second class merit, 30 people were awarded the third class merit and 19 people joined the party in the line of fire.
