It turns out that the role of special fans uniting is very large, at least to make the US top level recognize Tesla's market leadership.
On Tuesday, tens of thousands of Tek fans and Musk heard the answers they wanted, and US President Joe Biden acknowledged Tesla's status as the largest electric car manufacturer in the United States for the first time in a speech.
In a speech to promote U.S. companies to expand U.S. electric vehicle infrastructure, Biden first mentioned Musk's company, citing Tesla as an example of a company investing in U.S. manufacturing.
"Since 2021, companies have announced investments in domestic manufacturing in the U.S. totaling more than $200 billion," Biden said. From iconic companies like General Motors and Ford building new EV production, to Tesla, the nation's largest electric car maker, to young, innovative companies like ELECTRIC CAR maker Rivian and electric bus maker Proterra. ”
After Biden's speech, Musk thanked Tesla fans in a response on Twitter.

The fans recently launched a petition online urging the Biden administration to "recognize Tesla's leadership in electric vehicles." Before Biden's speech, the petition had been signed by more than 58,000 people.
Previously, because Tesla did not have a union organization, US President Biden, in public, repeatedly praised for Ford and GM's electrification market position, deliberately ignoring Tesla, which also made Musk and many special fans extremely unhappy.
