After Biden's speech, Musk thanked Tesla fans in a response on Twitter.
The fans recently launched a petition online urging the Biden administration to "recognize Tesla's leadership in electric vehicles." Before Biden's speech, the petition had been signed by more than 58,000 people.
Previously, because Tesla did not have a union organization, US President Biden, in public, repeatedly praised for Ford and GM's electrification market position, deliberately ignoring Tesla, which also made Musk and many special fans extremely unhappy.
