Professor Yi Lijun of Beijing University of Foreign Chinese died at 4:35 p.m. on February 7, 2022 at the age of 87 in Beijing.
Yi Lijun, female, born on December 4, 1934 in Huanggang, Hubei Province, is a professor at the University of Foreign Chinese in Beijing, a doctoral supervisor, an outstanding Polish language educator in China and a translator and researcher of Polish literature.

Professor Yi Lijun has long been engaged in Polish language teaching, literary translation and research, and has authored "Polish Literature", "History of Polish Post-War Literature", etc., translated dozens of works such as Adam Mickiewicz's poem "Ancestor Sacrifice", the epic poem "Mr. Tadushi" (co-translation), "Fire and Sword" (co-translation), "Crusader Knight" (upper and lower volumes, co-translation), Vigombrovic's "Ferdi Dukai" (co-translation), Olga Tokarczuk's "Taikoo and Other Times" (co-translation) and dozens of other works.

It is reported that the farewell ceremony of the remains will be held at 9 o'clock on February 11, 2022 (Friday) in the "Bamboo Hall" of the Babaoshan Funeral Home.
