Moroccan COC certification is within the scope of mandatory certification by the Moroccan Bureau of Standards for the compulsory certification of products exported to Morocco. The Moroccan COC certification was implemented on February 1, 2020. The program focuses on consistency between products and standards as well as risk management. If the product is controlled by the destination country, it can be shipped. If a product is subject to export control at the port of destination, it must be inspected before loading. It can only be shipped after passing the inspection, otherwise it cannot be reissued. Moroccan COC certification procedure

1. Request for certificate and prepare documents: Application Form - Certificate Request Form. The application form should detail the condition of the goods, pro forma invoices and packing lists, and submit conformity documents (based on third-party certificates, test reports and analytical reports) and manufacturer's certificates (according to ISO 9001 or other quality standards such as ISO 16949, ISO 13485, etc.). )

2. Document review and testing: The issuer will review all information provided by the trader and check that it complies with Moroccan standards and regulations. If testing is required, it can be carried out in a laboratory recognized by a certification body. The certification body will coordinate sampling and conduct laboratory tests.

3. Inspection: After completing the above steps, an on-site inspection is carried out.

4. Issuance of certificate after verification: After inspection, the certification body will check the documents and inspection reports provided by the trader. If the verification is qualified, a COC e-Certificate will be issued.

5。 Verification: The importer will submit the COC e-Certificate and other import documents to the Moroccan single window system portnet. These documents will be verified and the COC certificate will be part of the customs clearance process. After passing the inspection, the final packing slip, invoice and manuscript are provided, and the original documentation is issued.
