Tesla recruited 28,533 employees in 2021, increasing the number of employees by 40.3%

On February 8, Tesla submitted a 10-K annual report to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) showing that the company recruited a total of 28,533 employees in 2021, an increase of 40.3%.

As of December 31, 2021, Tesla and its subsidiaries had 99,290 full-time employees worldwide, compared to 70,757 at the end of 2020. Tesla said it considers its relationship with employees to be "good" because the company has not experienced any downtime caused by labor disputes.
