If we know enough, we must maintain an open-minded attitude of studying. Learning and knowing is insufficient, insufficient and knowledgeable, self-knowledge and ignorance will always seek knowledge. Humility comes from knowing deficiencies, and only by knowing one's own deficiencies can we perceive the advantages of others and maintain an open-minded learning attitude. During the Three Kingdoms period, the famous general Lü Meng of the State of Wu was famous for crossing the river in white clothes to defeat Guan Yu, he was originally born in the army and had no culture, but after Sun Quan persuaded him to study, he realized his own shortcomings, insisted on reading and studying, improved himself, and gradually learned. Once, after discussing major state affairs with Lü Meng, Lu Su, who was rich in knowledge, praised his knowledge and talents: "The Qing Dynasty is only a little bit, not a fu Wuxia Amun!" Only when a person realizes his own shortcomings will he have the desire to seek knowledge, and only with the spirit and consciousness of "three-person action, there must be my teacher", take people as a mirror, look at the gap, take things as an example, see insufficiently, take himself as a training, check mistakes, self-examination on the road of seeking knowledge, see the direction clearly, study diligently, and complete breakthroughs.

Knowing the deficiencies, we must establish the concept of self-renewal. Those who are under-informed can see their own shortcomings, understand the distance between ideals and reality, and it is easier to see the strengths of others. This is not only a kind of courage, but also a spirit of self-innovation and enterprising. The Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxi mentioned in the quotation of the "Words of the Mirror", "Its one is like, its nine fogs are like", but the person who likes the mirror is nine of the ten. Because the mirror can hide insufficient, make people feel comfortable and deceive themselves, it is difficult to recognize themselves, do not know, non-mirror dim, solid blindness. Zeng Guofan, a heavy minister of the late Qing Dynasty, was a very learned man, and he once worshiped the masters of science Tang Jian and Wu Ren as teachers, and humbly asked them for advice on ways to change their own deficiencies, and keeping a diary was one of them. He wrote down his daily deficiencies by writing a diary, and in the diary of the day before his death, he could also see his reflections on his own shortcomings. Taking history as a mirror, we must take the initiative and consciously examine ourselves, cautiously look at the gap, if we cannot objectively and comprehensively understand ourselves, as "Han Feizi Yu Lao" said in "blind eye", but only self-intoxication, self-contained, then where to change ourselves and improve ourselves?

Lack of knowledge is an objective and sober cognition of the self, and we need to objectively examine ourselves. Jump out of yourself and look at yourself as if you were looking in a mirror. Not only to look at the positive, but also to see the negative; not only to see their own bright spots, but also to be aware of their own flaws, otherwise they will only fall into a situation of self-congratulation and arrogance. Lu Xun once said: "I do dissect others all the time, but more than that, I dissect myself mercilessly." True wise people always look for the root cause of the problem from themselves, and the 88-year-old Qi Baishi, who appreciates a work of his youth, finds that his painting skills are not as good as before, and practices drawing red stroke by stroke every night. The son asked incomprehensibly: "You have long been famous in the world, how can you think of such a rudimentary thing as red?" He replied: "Now that my reputation is high, many people think that it is good for me to wipe a brush at will, and I am also fluttered by these praises, and I invisibly relax my requirements for myself." It wasn't until I saw a painting I had painted when I was young the other day that I was suddenly alerted that I could no longer be blinded by the untruths of the outside world. ”

Insufficient knowledge is not the goal, but the pursuit of progress in the way, the target in the "line", to do something. Knowing deficiencies is the cornerstone of success, and for people to deal with the world, we must not only recognize our own shortcomings, but also accept the shortcomings pointed out by others, and we must have the courage and perseverance to correct the deficiencies and turn the deficiencies into "sufficient". Only by overcoming the dilemma of little knowledge and confusion and the panic of insufficient skills, knowing the lack of knowledge and then forging ahead, and then improving the overall spiritual realm and skills, can we truly achieve success.
