According to a study published in the journal Advanced Science, Israeli researchers have for the first time designed a functional 3D human spinal cord tissue and implanted it in a laboratory model of chronic paralysis for a long time. Experimental results show that 80% of the test subjects successfully recovered their ability to walk.
