The Ancient Poplar Tree Venue Group is one of the two venue groups in the Zhangjiakou Competition Area of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, including 3 competition venues, 1 non-competition venue and 1 contracted hotel, namely the National Ski Jumping Center, the National Cross-Country SkiIng Center, the National Biathlon Center and the Zhangjiakou Mountain Broadcasting Center, and the Technical Officer Hotel, covering a total area of 420 hectares.
At the beginning of the preparation for construction, the design plan of the ancient poplar stadium group was openly solicited from the world, and finally selected from the top design teams in the United States, France, Switzerland, Canada and other countries, and comprehensively integrated by Tsinghua University.
