According to IT Home, after a sexual harassment of a woman on Horizon Worlds of Meta (formerly Facebook), the company announced the "Personal Boundary", which can be used as a force field around the virtual body to prevent others from approaching.

Meta says Personal Boundary is 4 feet by default, always on, and can't be turned off. In the future, it will decide whether to add new controls, such as allowing users to customize the size of their Personal Boundary.
According to previous reports, in early December 2021, during the testing of Meta's meta-universe platform Horizon Worlds, a female tester said that she was sexually harassed in the virtual world. The tester said a stranger tried to "touch" his virtual character in the square. She said the feeling of discomfort was stronger than being harassed on the internet.
