Recently, BYD announced the company's domestic car sales last month. In January 2022, BYD sold a total of 95,180 new cars, an increase of 126.1% over the same period last year. It is worth noting that the sales of new energy models reached 92926 units, an increase of 367.6% year-on-year, and also accounted for 97.63% of the total sales.

From the perspective of specific models, its luxury car brand Han sold 12,780 vehicles in January, an increase of 8.1% year-on-year, and sold more than 10,000 for five consecutive months, ranking in the "10,000-car club" of medium and large cars. HanEV, on the other hand, exceeded 10,000 for three consecutive months with a record of 10,050 units, ranking first in the sales of medium and large cars in pure electric vehicles. Another car brand, Qin, also sold 26,542 units in January, with cumulative sales reaching 520,000 units, of which the Qin PLUS DM-i model rose 6.7% month-on-month.

In terms of SUVs, the main model Song series sold a total of 22,449 units in January, of which the Song PLUS EV model increased by 3093.3% year-on-year, and the cumulative sales of the Song series also exceeded 1.07 million units. The flagship SUV Tang series sold 9,060 units in January, with cumulative sales of more than 300,000 vehicles. The entry-level small SUV yuan series sold 8596 units in January, up 1643.6% year-on-year, and the cumulative sales volume was 230,000 units.

In addition, BYD's two pure electric models e series and Dolphin also have good sales. Among them, the former sold 4364 units in January, with an increase of 235.1% year-on-year for the e2, while the sales of the new model Dolphin launched last year exceeded 10,000 units in January to 10,602 units, up 5.9% month-on-month.
