Zhou Yuefeng, president of Huawei Data Storage, has made great contributions to the development of the European market This year, the age of 48

With the approaching digital world and the huge demand of enterprises, global data is exploding, and it is predicted that by 2030, the total amount of data generated worldwide will reach 1YB per year.

At present, in the field of data storage, Huawei can be said to be a leading enterprise in the industry, and the person behind Huawei's position is Zhou Yuefeng, vice president of Huawei, data storage and machine vision product line, and today the operator finance network combs his experience for you.

Zhou Yuefeng was born in 1974 in Cixi, Zhejiang. He graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in engineering from the School of Telecommunications, and received a master's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2000.

Zhou Yuefeng then went to the United Kingdom to study, and received his PhD in digital communication from the University of Edinburgh in 2005. It is reported that this university is the highest institution of learning in Scotland, with QS ranking 16th and a high gold content.

After graduation, Zhou Yuefeng developed in Europe for a period of time, began to engage in communications research and development, worked for two Japanese companies, one of the world's largest IT service companies Fujitsu and NEC, accumulated a wealth of experience.

In 2008, Zhou Yuefeng joined Huawei in Europe and successively served as the director of Vodafone Innovation Research Center (MIC) of the Wireless Network Europe Product Management Department, the COO of the wireless FDD LTE product line, the president of the wireless small cell product line, and the CMO of the wireless network product line.

In those years in Europe, Zhou Yuefeng opened up a large European market for Huawei, and in 2011, the market share of Huawei's wireless business in Western Europe reached about 30%. Second only to Ericsson, which has a share of about 40%, in Western countries with completely different cultural backgrounds, this can be achieved, in addition to Huawei's own technical strength, but also Zhou Yuefeng's strategy and decision-making.

After returning to China, in May 2019, Zhou Yuefeng was appointed vice president of Huawei's IT product line and president of intelligent data and storage. He once won the highest honor award for the construction of Huawei's management system, "Blue Blood Ten Jie".

According to Gartner's latest market research report, Huawei's storage ranked fourth in the world and first in China in 2019, with all-flash storage growing by 31% per year, maintaining the world's first place for 8 consecutive quarters. Zhou Yuefeng is still not satisfied with this, saying: "Huawei's becoming the world's number one storage manufacturer is just around the corner."

Keep going, innovate. Just last month, Zhou Yuefeng led his new products to appear in the public eye, in the fields of hybrid storage, backup storage and other fields, Huawei launched six new products to improve the new storage experience.

As of 2022, Zhou Yuefeng has been engaged in the ICT industry for more than ten years, leading the storage business to continue to explode, and in the fourth quarter of 2020, Huawei's storage business ranked second in the world, second only to DeII EMC, and is only one step away from Zhou Yuefeng's goal of being the world's first.

Now Zhou Yuefeng is not yet 50 years old, is in the golden period of career development, I believe that in the future in Huawei, he can still make great achievements, and the operator financial network will continue to pay attention.
