BYD Co., Ltd. announced today that new energy vehicle sales in January were 93,168 units, compared with 20,178 units in the same period last year, an increase of 361.73% year-on-year.
According to the data, BYD's new energy vehicle production reached 91736 units in January, compared with 22393 units in the same period last year, an increase of 309.66% year-on-year; sales of new energy vehicles in January were 93168 units, compared with 20178 units in the same period last year, an increase of 361.73% year-on-year. Among them, the sales volume of plug-in hybrid vehicles reached 46540 units, an increase of 760.58% year-on-year.
BYD said that the above sales figures have not been reviewed, nor have they been confirmed by the company's auditors, or will be adjusted and subject to final confirmation. In the whole year of 2021, BYD's cumulative sales of new energy vehicles 604783 units, an increase of 218.3% year-on-year; in 2021, the cumulative output of new energy vehicles was 607119 units, an increase of 219.76% year-on-year.
Nintendo today announced data for the fourth quarter of 2021, and switch console official sales reached 103.54 million units, successfully surpassing the Wii console's 101.63 million units. In less than five years, the Switch console became the best-selling console under the Nintendo umbrella.
