Sky Sports: Keane will be interviewed for Sunderland's new coach

According to Sky Sports, Roy Keane will interview For Sunderland's vacant manager position.

Keane, who coached Sunderland from 2006 to 2008, is very interested in inviting the former manager back.

Contrary to other reports, Sunderland did not directly invite Keane to coach, but according to Sky Sports, the Manchester United star is considering returning to the coaching bench after a gap of 10 years.

Keane's last coaching job was at Ipswich, which was between 2009 and 2011.

In addition to Keane, Neil Lennon, Neil Warnock and Grant McCann are all on Sunderland's shortlist.

Sunderland is currently playing in League One, where after 29 rounds the team has scored 54 points, putting them in third place in the table.
