German pair skating male partner has tested positive for the new crown twice and is isolated in the hotel for the Beijing Winter Olympics

According to the official website of the German Olympic Sports Federation (DOSB), the country's figure skater Nolan Seggert tested positive for the new crown virus, and it is doubtful whether he can participate in the Beijing Olympic Games.

Nolan-Seggert, who has tested positive for COVID-19 twice, is currently isolated in a hotel room without any symptoms. He had planned to play in the individual pair skating and the team competition of Germany with Minerva Hassei, but once they withdraw, the German team may face the embarrassing situation of withdrawing from the team competition.

The Minerva-Hasse/Nolan-Seget combination, which won the Wudi Cup in 2021 and finished fifth and seventh in two Grand Prix races this season, was originally a competitive combination.
