Once upon a time, going to Motuo could only be a dream for ordinary people. Located in the border area of Tibet Autonomous Region with India and the average altitude of 4,800 meters, the Galongla Snow Mountain runs through it, and was once the only county in the country with different roads. The state began to build the highway to Medog in the 60s of the last century, and it took more than 50 years to complete it in 2013. The Yarlung Zangbo River passes through a large broad-leaved forest, where vines are intertwined and flowers are dotted with flowers, reflecting the snow-capped mountains and waterfalls in the distance, forming a unique natural landscape that is different from other parts of Tibet.

The Galongla Snow Mountain in front of you is the only way to drive into Medog from Bomi, with long-term snow, changeable climate, complex geological structure, violent and frequent activities, avalanches, landslides, and mudslides may occur at any time, which is a daunting roadblock in Medog County.
