On the evening of January 31, Zhang Guoli and Ran Honglin, director of the Sanxingdui Archaeological Research Institute, displayed the cultural relics unearthed by Samsung on the stage of the Spring Festival Gala of the Year of the Tiger on CCTV, reproducing the style of ancient Shu.
This time, the "new" is the Sanxingdui bronze mask. It is 131 cm wide, 71 cm high, 66 cm deep and weighs 131 pounds, making it the largest and well-preserved large bronze mask known to have been excavated at the Sanxingdui site.

The Sanxingdui civilization, which is rich in splendid art and culture, shocked the world after rescue excavations in 1986. After many years, the excavation of 6 newly discovered artifact pits in Sanxingdui has begun.

Pit No. 3 also unearthed a bronze sacred tree, which is believed by many to be the prototype of Fuso in the Classic of Mountains and Seas.

Three bronze kneeling figures were found in the No. 4 sacrifice pit, and archaeologists believe that the kneeling portraits show that there was realistic sculpture art in ancient Shu more than 3,000 years ago.

Some time ago, a bronze dragon tiger "divine beast" with a tiger's head and tiger brain was found in the No. 8 sacrifice pit. This "divine beast" has double horns on its head, a golden-bottomed tabby patterned beast body, and a half-dragon and half-tiger.
