Yunnan is located in southwest China, bordering many countries in South asia and Southeast Asia. Geographical proximity, cultural similarity and cultural affinity have made Yunnan the forefront and radiation center of China's people-to-people exchanges in South and Southeast Asia. There are 26 ethnic groups in Yunnan, including Han, Dai, Hani, Bai, Zhuang and Miao, and the ethnic culture is rich and diverse, and the evening party fully demonstrates this feature. The Hani ethnic dance "Oriental Tap", the Yi dance "Happy New Year", the female Tibetan ethnic dance "Yuan" and the "Phoenix Flying Sky" adapted from the Dai intangible cultural heritage dance "Jinnara" are all programs with great Yunnan ethnic characteristics.

In order to make this evening more diverse, a number of artists visited the villages of Deang ethnic groups and Tibetans in Yunnan, carefully observed and collected the sound environment materials in the life and production of multi-ethnic people, and then artistically processed them to create the sound work of "Sound into the Ears". The work allows global audiences to listen as if they have "walked into" the villages and villages of the Yunnan ethnic groups and felt the diverse ethnic cultures of Yunnan.
