So the upper link should be attached to the right side of the door.
For some that need to be written horizontally, such as the plaque on the door, it is also written from right to left, such as the "Zhengda Guangming" plaque of the Qianqing Palace, and the traditional writing method of the Spring League horizontal batch is also written from right to left.
However, most of the horizontal criticisms of the Spring League today are written from left to right. Therefore, there is an explanation that the posting direction of the upper and lower links should be in the order of writing in the horizontal batch.

However, not every year must be posted spring league, in some cases can not be posted spring league. Not all spring leagues are white, and some spring leagues are purple.
In this special case, someone in the family died. According to the traditional Chinese filial piety, under normal circumstances, the couplet is not posted for three years, and when the three-year filial piety period expires, the Spring League is pasted.
