The White Paper "2021 China's Aerospace" released by the Information Office of the State Council on January 28 for the first time proposes to promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind in the field of outer space. It is foreseeable that facing the next five years and beyond, China Aerospace will carry out international exchanges and cooperation with a more active and open attitude, and accelerate the development of high-quality, sustainable and well-being space industry.
Exploring the mysteries of the universe and using outer space is the common dream of all mankind. Only by working together, equality and mutual benefit and peaceful use can all countries ensure the long-term sustainable development of outer space activities.
Since 2016, China has signed 46 space cooperation agreements or memorandums of understanding with 19 countries and regions and 4 international organizations; actively promoted global governance of outer space; and supported the space capacity building of developing countries through various means and shared the achievements of China's space development.
In the next five years, China Aerospace will continue to expand the depth and breadth of international cooperation. Promote cooperation with the International Lunar Research Station, carry out joint selection and training of astronauts, joint flights, and open the scientific data of the "Chang'e-4" satellite to the international community... In the fields of lunar exploration, space station and planetary exploration, China will carry out more extensive and more international mutually beneficial cooperation.
At the same time, China will further promote the global application of space information services, and promote the construction of the "Belt and Road" space information corridor, the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization data sharing service platform, and the BRICS remote sensing satellite constellation, so that the achievements of China's space development will benefit the world.
China will also actively participate in the global governance of outer space, contribute Chinese solutions and Wisdom in the fields of monitoring and response to small earth objects near the Earth, planetary protection, and space traffic management, and jointly address the challenges of long-term sustainable development of outer space activities.
Look up at the stars, unremitting exploration, and work together to go forward steadily. On the new journey of building a space power in an all-round way, China will continue to explore a high-level international cooperation model and make greater contributions to protecting the earth's homeland, improving people's livelihood and well-being, and serving the progress of human civilization.
