As the Spring Festival approaches, the flow of traffic back to their hometowns is becoming increasingly dense, and the biggest concern for electric vehicle owners is the lack of electricity on the highway. On January 29, the reporter learned from the Guangxi Power Grid Company of China Southern Power Grid that the company put into operation a number of new electric vehicle charging stations in the highway service area, and at the same time opened a 50% discount on the charging service fee of thousands of charging stations during the Spring Festival from January 28 to February 6 to meet the charging needs of electric vehicles on holidays.
On January 28, the 26th day of the lunar month, the charging point of the Xinggui Expressway Lingchuan Uplink Service Area (Xing'an to Guilin) built by Guangxi Power Grid Company in Guilin was officially put into operation, which can charge 4 electric vehicles at the same time. At the same time, the charging points of wutong, Huixian, Dongshan, Rongjiang, Pingle and other 5 expressway service areas in Guilin jurisdiction have also been completed and put into operation, and each unilateral service area has two DC fast charging piles to meet the needs of fast charging of 4 electric vehicles at the same time.

It is understood that Guangxi Power Grid Company, based on the charging needs of new energy vehicles, has actively promoted "central-central cooperation" and "central-local cooperation" in recent years, and joined hands with Sinopec, PetroChina and local state-owned enterprises to actively carry out the construction of electric vehicle charging facilities along highways, urban public parking lots, gas stations, substations, large scenic spots, etc.
Up to now, Guangxi Power Grid Corporation has built more than 1,300 electric vehicle charging stations and more than 10,000 charging piles in Guangxi, achieving full coverage of charging networks in 14 districted cities and counties in Guangxi, which greatly facilitates the charging needs of people everywhere to drive new energy vehicles.
In particular, since 2021, Guangxi Power Grid Corporation has cooperated in the construction of 121 oil and electricity integrated energy stations in Guangxi, including 30 in the highway service area, with a total of 197 charging guns. The completed charging network includes High-speed sections such as Guangkun Expressway, Baomao Expressway, Quannan Expressway, Guilong Expressway, Cangshuo Expressway, And Xiarong Expressway Liuzhou Section, which basically covers the expressway with large traffic flow in Guangxi.
Today, even in remote counties, township public areas, transportation hubs and other places, electric vehicle owners no longer need to worry about charging. For example, in Donglan County, Guangxi, an old revolutionary area, the Guangxi Power Grid Company has built 8 charging stations, a total of 52 charging guns, so that urban and rural people can "charge and charge fast".
"Our company not only extensively builds charging infrastructure in the whole region, but also actively carries out the layout and construction of power exchange facilities. At present, it has cooperated with Weilai, Dongfeng Liuqi and other companies to build two substations in Liuzhou and implement 24-hour all-weather operation. Lin Rui, senior manager of the Emerging Business and Industrial Finance Department of Guangxi Power Grid Corporation, said that in the replacement power station, new energy vehicle owners can quickly change the power in 3 minutes, which is as convenient as refueling, and effectively solves the problem of rapid energy replenishment of new energy vehicles.
It is reported that this year, Guangxi Power Grid Company will continue to increase investment and benefit the people, and plans to build a number of high-quality charging stations to fully meet the green travel needs of the people of Guangxi.
