After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, he was appointed commander-in-chief of the 20th Group Army of the National Revolutionary Army, and in 1939 he was appointed deputy commander of the Ninth Theater, and after the Republic of China, he gradually grew into a powerful warlord in the Sichuan Army. In 1921, he became the commander of the Second Army, in 1923 he followed Wu Peifu as a lieutenant general in the army, the commander of the 16th Division of the Central Army, and in 1924 he led his troops to garrison Chengdu, becoming the capital of Sichuan, becoming the largest force in the Sichuan Army.

This old residence had hosted a leader of the Wang puppet government in the late autumn of 1942, and he came here because he wanted Mei Lanfang to lead a troupe to perform in Nanjing and other places to celebrate the so-called "victory in the Great East Asian War." Shortly after Mei Lanfang resolutely pushed it back, the leader of the Japanese army, Yamajia Shaozuo, ordered Mei Lanfang to participate in this performance, and if he violated military law, he would be dealt with.

No. 37 Sinan Road, next to the original Yang Sen mansion is the current No. 12 Middle School, formerly known as Qixiu Girls' High School, founded in 1905 has a history of 100 years, in 1938 from Zhabei to Huaihai Middle Road Lane 650 Lane 3 (Shanghai Sun Yat-sen Pavilion site), in 1956 after the merger of the school renamed Shanghai Twelve Girls' High School, in 1966 renamed as the Twelfth Middle School, in July 1981 moved to No. 37 Sinan Road, adjacent to Sun Yat-sen's former residence. Inside there is a statue of the martyr Mao Liying.
No. 39-41 Sinan Road, Shanghai Academy of Literature and History, this garden house combining Spanish and Islamic styles was originally the residence of Yuan Zuoliang, president of Jincheng Bank, and later in 1953, Mayor Chen Yi presided over the establishment of the Shanghai Research Museum of Culture and History, and in December 1980, the research center was moved here.

At first, the personnel of the French Concession Patrol House were all composed of foreigners who were mainly French, and later it was allowed to hire Chinese as a patrol shop, and in 1933, there were nearly 2,000 police officers in the Patrol House, including a small number of senior Chinese police officers, and Cheng Ziqing, the brother of Jin Rong, was here to serve as the chief inspector.
At that time, the main task here was to collect the situation in the changes in China's political situation and the military and economic and social dynamics, and to pay special attention to the politicians and celebrities who lived in the French Concession, which can be said to be the nerve center of the French in the French Concession, and now it has become an ordinary residence like the Luhan Former Residence, which is basically for the families of the troops.

No. 91 Sinan Road, the former residence of the revolutionary Li Liejun in the early 20th century, lived here after Li Liejun retired from politics in 1928, advocated the anti-Japanese struggle to save the country after the September 18 Incident in 1932, went back to the interior to participate in the anti-Japanese work after the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, died of illness in Chongqing in 1946, and now this is the most vibrant place on Sinan Road - Sinan Road Kindergarten.
