Wang Yangming: I am self-sufficient and do not ask for anything

Whether it is to improve one's own mental nature or to plan one's life, all wisdom is in one's own heart, and the truth of external things needs to be discovered and verified from the heart.

Wang Yangming: I am self-sufficient and do not ask for anything

Kazuo Inamori once said: What kind of blueprint you draw in your heart determines what kind of life you will live. Strong thoughts will appear as phenomena – please remember this "law of the universe" first.

When many people see this sentence, they feel that this sentence is too idealistic and too mysterious, as if there is no example that can be grasped in the facts in an instant, but this sentence has been recognized by many people in the past and the present, including the great thinkers of ancient times, such as Wang Yangming.

Wang Yangming was interested in buddhism and Taoism from an early age, and when he was later relegated to Longchang in Guizhou, he was still fascinated by "Zhou Yi".

He was still thinking about the relationship between life and all things, between human nature and the universe, and this was also the entanglement and question that often existed in his mind, and at that time, he did not understand his own nature and objective things, was there a connection between the two? Is this event completely random?

For this problem, in fact, many sages are thinking, and Wang Yangming is bent on being a sage, this problem is naturally a key point that he cannot avoid, and he also hopes to gain a correct understanding of life on the shoulders of his predecessors.

Perhaps it was kung fu that paid off, or perhaps it was the intentional care of heaven, under Wang Yangming's repeated deliberations and thoughts, one day he suddenly realized that the human nature he was thinking about was not much different from the Heavenly Dao, but could be connected as one, that is, to find the power and ideas of the Heavenly Principle from the heart.

Just like Wang Yangming said after he realized the Tao in longchang, "The way of the saints, I am self-sufficient, I do not pretend to ask for anything else".

When Wang Yangming realized all this, he was very surprised, it was still late at night, the servants were all sleeping deeply next to him, and Wang Yangming's frantic cry woke up his servants, and the servants felt inexplicable when they saw Wang Yangming's state, but only Wang Yangming knew that his heart was transparent at this moment.

Wang Yangming: I am self-sufficient and do not ask for anything

It is also based on Wang Yangming's inner realization of the point that "the way of the saints, my nature is self-sufficient, and I do not seek from outside", that the truth of the unity of knowledge and action is proposed.

In Wang Yangming's view, his unity of knowledge and action is not the relationship between knowledge and action as we commonly understand it, but the moment he thinks that his thoughts are launched, the line already exists.

And what Wang Yangming said is also in line with what we mentioned at the beginning, that all the things in life can be found in their own hearts, and the root of this answer is the power of thoughts in their hearts.

Kazuo Inamori calls this force the "will of the universe," arguing that when one acts in response to this force, one brings success and prosperity to one's life, and if it goes the other way around, it is bound to decline and decline.

From a popular point of view, the criterion for this force is actually the kindness, benevolence, peace and happiness proposed by the ancient sages.

In this regard, Kazuo Inamori also gave such an example, he said that when he is engaged in the process of product development and manufacturing, he can often feel the positive force due to this state, and he also relies on the guidance of this power to develop many excellent new products, and the accumulation of each new product is an important fundamental to make his life to a high position.

For example, he did not take the exam when he applied for the university to volunteer, and when he graduated from college, it coincided with the war, so he began to complain about the injustice of the world and lamented that fate was not good.

Later, with the help of a university professor, he entered a factory in Kyoto that produced insulated porcelain bottles, only to learn that the company was very dilapidated and was about to go out of business, and his salary could not even be paid.

In this case, the people who entered the factory with him were also complaining and complaining every day, but at this time, Inamori Kazuo changed his attitude of grief and resentment, because he felt that people had been forced into this dilemma anyway, and it was better to relax themselves.

In this way, he began to adjust his state, with a more relaxed and positive attitude, to face the working environment at that time, but also put all his energy into work, fully research new products.

Before long, his research results also began to appear, so he was praised by his superiors, and then it was a process of formally entering a virtuous circle in his life, and the precipitation of this stage also became an important capital for him to establish Kyocera Company.

Wang Yangming: I am self-sufficient and do not ask for anything

If we blindly detach ourselves from the actual situation and focus on idealism, this is biased, but no matter where we are at any time, we should also take care of the invisible influence of our inner state on external things, no matter what the external things are, we can face the problem with a positive and kind attitude, perhaps this is also an important fundamental for letting our lives enter a virtuous circle.
