Hunan Provincial Geological Museum, which has been committed to gem science popularization and cultural dissemination, this time, will focus on the four seasons of plants, refine the spirit of the four seasons of plants in the tung, lotus, ginkgo, and plum, and take this as the design model, launch the "Natural Four Seasons" series of gem cultural creation, with the precious gemstones that condense the essence of the sun and moon mountains and rivers for hundreds of millions of years, interpret the romance and eternity of the four seasons, in every inch, while showing the preciousness of natural resources, convey the spiritual strength of natural resources.

Four seasons of plants, four brooches, each brooch designed around a plant expression. The "Four Seasons" series of gemstones is designed in the form of a brooch, which is like a badge, which can not only serve as a status symbol, but also condense and express the spiritual thoughts of natural resource people.
Spring has "dancing days", summer has "illuminated water", autumn comes "Linfeng", in winter "proud snow", "four seasons" series of gem creation for each brooch tailored with a unique design theme and name, corresponding to the spring wind blooming in the tung flower, the summer pavilion of the lotus, the autumn wind full of golden ginkgo, and the winter snow proudly standing plum.

Why Tung, Lotus, Ginkgo and Plum?
"The wings are opened for the first time, and the colors are full of joy." When the flowers bloom in April, they look like a flock of pigeons perched in the distance, which makes it called the "Chinese pigeon tree". It is a relict species of the Cenozoic Tertiary Paleotropical flora 60 million years ago, known as "plant living fossils", and is now a national first-class protected plant and one of the precious natural resources. At an altitude of 700 meters above sea level in Tianping Mountain, Sangzhi County, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, thousands of acres of pure forest of Tung Tong were found, which is the largest pure forest of Tung Tong found in the world. When the tung blossoms, from its posture of flying like a white pigeon, it seems that you can see the upward posture of people.
"Only green lotus red han, roll Shu open and close Ren naïve." Lotus leaf fields, the lotus flowers that "come out of the mud without staining", are the most recognizable plants in summer. In Chinese culture, the lotus flower is endowed with the characteristics of incorruptibility, insistence and otherworldliness, and is called "the gentleman of the flowers". People love lotus flowers, either because of their feminine and upright appearance, or because of their symbolic significance. What is less known is that the lotus flower is one of the earliest ancient plants of angiosperms, which has been distributed in many waters of the northern hemisphere 135 million years ago, but has been listed as a national second-level protected plant due to the scarcity of wild resources. The lotus flower is also the provincial flower of Hunan Province.
"Ginkgo biloba grows into a side goose, and wood rhinoceros flowers send wild warblers flying." Between the autumn winds, the ginkgo biloba sways and the ground is golden. Ginkgo biloba is a gymnosperm relict of the Mesozoic Era, a national first-class protected plant, and one of the oldest tree species in the world today, which is called "living fossil" by scientists and "giant panda of the plant kingdom". The fan-shaped appearance of the ginkgo biloba leaves is beautiful and unique, making it an autumn treasure that people rush to pick up and sandwich between the pages, and the "white fruit" hidden between the leaves tells the joy of the autumn harvest and symbolizes the pragmatic spirit of people.
"Don't let people exaggerate the color, just leave the air full of dry air." In the middle of winter, everything is lonely, and the unique "cold flower" Lamei blooms proudly on frost and snow cold days, secretly wafting incense. With its attitude of not fearing the cold, the world and independence, people have given it a strong, firm and loyal personality, making Lamei a well-known garden flowering plant and a representative flower in winter.
"The reason why these four plants were chosen was, on the one hand, because of their rarity and uniqueness, on the other hand, because of the personified characteristics of each plant, and because they were more inclined to choose plants with regional representation in Hunan." Zhong Qi, deputy director of the Geological Museum of Hunan Province, introduced: "Tongtong, lotus, ginkgo and plum are all precious plant resources, and the use of cultural and creative forms to let more people know their preciousness, so as to promote related conservation work, is the mission and responsibility of natural resource people; and the refinement and elaboration of each plant personality characteristic is from the cultural concept and industry spirit, giving gem cultural and creative products a longer vitality and re-creativity." ”

"Linfeng", using 18K gold to depict the unique linear shape of ancient ginkgo biloba leaves, a honey wax that has been precipitated for millions of years, is full of solidity, the image tells the joy of the autumn harvest, and the beautiful picture of harmonious coexistence between man and nature gradually spreads out.

The designer of the "Four Seasons" series of gemstones cultural and creative gem products, String Zi, said that the brooch design this time selected the matching gemstone according to the corresponding season. For example, using transparent and moist grape stones to set off the temperament of Xia Lian's "out of the mud without staining", using the wax of "color like honey, light like wax" to express the fruit of ginkgo biloba, "through jewelry, to pass on the knowledge of plants and nature to more people, this is my original design intention, but also one of the goals that this cultural and creative product wants to achieve." ”

Lao Yang, a cultural and creative packaging designer of the "Four Seasons" series of gemstones, introduced that "Tianshi" is the four seasons in chronological order, covering the natural seasons; "geographical advantage" is the concept of earth and space reflected by "nature", which is in line with the treasure of the handicraft material from the earth; "Renhe" is the cultural concept of "dancing in the sky, illuminating the water, facing the wind, and proud snow" given by the four seasons. "The four seasons of cultural and creative gem products are arranged in order, united and unified, and finally form a complete concept of nature, reflecting the harmony between man and nature." Finally, the "Four Seasons" series of gemstone cultural and creative packaging boxes are designed into a four-layer box folding form, which is both a packaging box and can also be used as a jewelry box, with a high degree of combination of product attributes, practicality and artistry, and the outer box surface is based on the main element of brush decoration painting, using gilding, gold printing, UV and other processes, showing the natural agility of the four seasons plants and the artistic value of the packaged products.
The four seasons are the imprint of nature's footsteps, and gemstones are the condensation of the essence of nature, as generous as nature, and give them selflessly to human beings.
