As the smallest and closest planet to the Sun in the Solar System, Mercury is only slightly larger than the Moon. Mercury has no atmosphere , only a thin exodus , consisting of oxygen , sodium , hydrogen , helium , and potassium produced by the solar wind and meteoroids hitting mercury 's surface. Because of its lack of atmospheric protection, Mercury's surface resembles that of the Moon , with many impact craters. The ice sheet has long existed on Mars, and the four seasons of Mars are distinct, the winter temperature can reach as low as minus 153 degrees Celsius, and the cold condenses about 30% of the carbon dioxide in the Martian atmosphere into dry ice, precipitating to the ice sheet, making it increase the thickness of about 1 meter. Strong winds blow these sediments away from the center of the high terrain to the low edges, forming the spiral structure of the North Pole ice sheet of Mars. It is the only moon in the solar system with a dense atmosphere, and its atmospheric composition is mainly nitrogen, plus a small amount of methane. The liquid pours down its atmosphere, accumulates on its surface, forms lakes and oceans, and evaporates back into the sky.
