A survey report released by the US Department of Commerce on the 25th shows that the global semiconductor supply chain is still fragile, the shortage of chip supply will continue for at least 6 months, and the inventory of key chips is only 5 days. A U.S. Department of Commerce survey of 150 semiconductor supply chain companies around the world shows that user chip demand has increased by about 17% from 2019 to 2021, but supply has not increased accordingly. The report believes that there is a serious and ongoing mismatch between chip supply and demand, and the companies surveyed do not expect this problem to be resolved in the next 6 months.
