Li Shangyin was born around 813 AD.
When he was less than 10 years old, his father died. Li Shangyin had to follow his mother back to his hometown, and he shouldered a family at a young age. As a teenager, Li Shangyin had no childhood to speak of, and he used to "help book sellers" to supplement his family.
However, it is not a lie that poor children have long been in charge, Li Shangyin has shown talent in literature since he was a child, "reciting scriptures at the age of five, writing pens at the age of seven", and sixteen years old is famous in the township because he is good at ancient Chinese.
At about twenty-six years old, Li Shangyin moved his family to Luoyang with a little savings, and met several nobles in his life in Luoyang, and the then high official Ling Huchu favored him even more.
After another 10 years of accumulation, Li Shangyin entered the army and the first in 837 AD, but he also fell into the Niu-Li party struggle, and since then he has been a subordinate in his life.
Before 837 AD, Li Shangyin had a short period of seclusion. In the seventh year of Yamato, Ling Huchu was transferred away from the Capital Official, and Li Shangyin also retired to Taiyuan and studied the Tao at Wangwu Mountain.
During the days he learned in seclusion, Li Shangyin slowly precipitated the techniques that Ling Huchu taught him, and completed the transformation of his style and style. And his later well-known "Untitled" style also began to emerge in these two years.

Su Luo's pavilion sent Cui Yong Cui Gong Li Shangyin [Tang Dynasty] Bamboo Dock dust-free water sill Qing, Acacia passed away the heavy city. Autumn yin does not disperse frost fly late, leaving dry lotus to listen to the sound of rain.

The title points out the original intention of the poem. Li Shangyin originally lived in the home of two cousins, Cui Yong and Cui Gong, and the three of them were like-minded and sang poems together, which was very leisurely. Later, after leaving the Cui family, Li Shangyin stayed in the garden pavilion of the Luo family, where no one accompanied him to appreciate the wind and moon, in the loneliness of the night, Li Shangyin began to miss the two cousins, and wrote this gift poem with a faint ghost.
The family surnamed Luo should also be a home of elegance, the scenery next to the home is quiet, Li Shangyin lives in the garden pavilion, it is even more by the mountains and rivers, not like in the human world.
So he started to write the first sentence, and only then did he write so beautifully: "Bamboo dock dust-free water sill clear."
Bamboo dock, as the name suggests, is a highland in the lush bamboo forest, which refers to the Luo Pavilion; the water sill is the water railing, that is, the Luo Pavilion.
Bamboo dock water sills, referring to the same, are intertextual, describing the quiet scenery of the pavilion near the bamboo water, "dust-free" and "clean" are similar in meaning, to describe the distance away from dust here. The two opposite places in the sentence not only loop back and forth in the rhyme, but also set off the quiet and lonely atmosphere to the extreme at the beginning.
Li Shangyin did not stay here for too long, and soon turned to his heart feelings: "Acacia passed away from the heavy city."
The lovesickness drifted into the distance, and the body wanted to return with it, but in the middle of the long road, the heavy high city blocked my pace.
From the loneliness of the previous sentence to the thought of the confidant, and then associated with the heavy city, the perspective suddenly expanded, and the emotions also swept through the air.
This poem has a total of 4 sentences, the first two sentences have already had a scene, and the last two sentences cannot be written, so they need to be creative.
"The autumn yin does not disperse the frost and flies late, leaving the dry lotus to listen to the sound of the rain."
The late autumn sky was not as clear as expected, and the gloomy clouds refused to dissipate. The heavy haze left a little more temperature for the earth, and it was too late to fly frost at this time.
If the theme of the first sentence is quiet, then the third sentence is depressed, a faint melancholy. After Li Shangyin expressed his thoughts, he returned to writing scenes, but the temperament of the scenery has changed with the change of mood.
The most ingenious of the last sentence knots. In the late autumn season, of course, the lotus leaves have long withered, but there are still a few residual leaves, so that people can listen to the raindrops falling, gently crunchy.
This sentence seems to inherit the third sentence, all of which are written scene sentences, but Li Shangyin's thoughts, Li Shangyin's loneliness, and Li Shangyin's sorrow and sentimentality have all been released with the splash of raindrops on the dry lotus.
Shen Yifu said in "Le Fu Zhi Fan": "The concluding sentence needs to be released, containing the meaning of infinity, and it is best to end the feelings with the scenery." ”
This last sentence is the end of the scene, and the voice is full of emotion. The advantage of ending a relationship with scenery lies in subtlety, in the aftersound of sound, and in the endless meaning of words.
We can imagine countless pictures and countless moods by "leaving the lotus to listen to the sound of rain", but no one knows what Li Shangyin's state of mind was at that time. The whole poetry realm is hazy and confused, and the theme of the hidden song hides behind the scenery and is left for posterity to excavate.
