On September 6, the 2021 Munich Motor Show was officially opened. Dacia, a car brand from Romania, has released its small electric SUV, the Dacia Spring. Since the Dacia brand belongs to the Renault Group, the car is built on the CMF-A platform, which includes not only Renault eno, but also its own brands Dongfeng Fengguang E1, Dongfeng Fengxing T1 EV, Dongfeng New Energy EX1 and Venucia e30.

Despite having many "cousins", Dacia Spring still has a Dacia family design style, mainly reflected in the front grille details and the headlight group part with a split effect. In terms of body size, the Dacia Spring has a body length of 3734 mm, which is even shorter than the Volkswagen Polo of the small hatchback, so its turning radius can reach 4.8 meters, while its trunk volume is 300 liters.
Interior-wise, the new car features a Dacia-style four-spoke steering wheel with power windows, central locks and an instrument cluster with a 3.5-inch driving computer display as standard, while reversing images, air conditioning, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors and full-size spare tires require options.
As a pure electric model, the Dacia Spring is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 44 hp and a peak torque of 129 Nm, matching a battery pack with a capacity of 27.4 kWh, and its range is 230 km under the WLTP test standard. In terms of charging, Dacia Spring supports DC fast charging mode, using a charging pile with a charging power of 30 kilowatts to charge up to 80% in 1 hour, using a Wallbox charging device with a charging power of 7.4 kilowatts to fully charge within 5 hours, and using a charging power of 3.7 kilowatts to charge a charging pile to fully charge for 8.5 hours. Finally, it takes 14 hours to fill with a standard plug.
