On the occasion of the upcoming Year of the Tiger, the "Tiger and Tiger Shengwei - Qin Xueyan Chinese Painting Exhibition" opened on the afternoon of January 25. In the form of "one exhibition and two points", the exhibition is exhibited at the Lu Yu Shao Art Institute and Chen Jiashan Hexiang Art Museum, using more than 80 tiger painting works to comprehensively display the precious tiger painting masterpieces of the famous tiger artist Qin Xueyan.
Walking into the exhibition hall of Lu Yushao Art Academy, the first thing that catches your eye is the huge Chinese painting "Wufu Linmen Tiger Tiger Shengwei". The painting effect cinnabar writes the word "tiger", and the five little tigers play under the author's freehand brushwork and layout, or play on the "tiger" character, or lazily cling to the side, calligraphy and painting seamlessly blend.
Qin Xueyan introduced that in December last year, he and the calligrapher Bao Shiwu specially created a joint creation for this exhibition, and there are many ingenuities between the pen and ink: five small tigers mean "five blessings"; after carefully observing the structure of the "tiger" character, he suddenly thought that the left side of the "tiger" character can draw three climbing tigers, so that the picture is more dynamic; the two tigers below, one lying on his stomach, and one hiding in the "hook" place, the whole picture has an echo. "This work represents the 'Five Blessings Linmen' and also wishes the people of Jiading the Year of the Tiger to add wings and vitality to the tiger." Qin Xueyan said.
Another Chinese painting work, "Howling", adopts the form of large close-ups, and through the creation of gong pen, vividly shows the facial expression of the tiger when it roars, with delicate and soft brushstrokes and imposing demeanor, which makes the audience admire. "It's like you're going to run out, it's lifelike." Aunt Zhang, a visitor from the city, said.
In addition to showing the mighty power of the tiger, Qin Xueyan also attaches great importance to the artistic conception of the picture, observing the tiger's foot gesture and the relationship between the tiger and the tiger.
Among the quiet trees, the tiger mother lovingly licks the hair of the delicate tiger baby, and every stroke in the work "Licking the Deep Love" exudes the joy of the life of the tiger group, attracting many viewers to stop. "The tiger paintings I saw before are more fierce, this work is very special, the little tiger is still playing with the tiger mother, so cute, let me think of the mother's embrace, the heart is warm." Audience member Shu Linyue said.
Sun Ke, secretary general of the Chinese Painting Art Committee of the China Artists Association and a well-known art critic, commented on Qin Xueyan's paintings: "It is not easy for the tiger to be able to be realistic, majestic, moving or static, and each of them is not easy, and it is not easy to pay attention to the treatment of interest and humanity in the style of realistic reproduction, paint it to play in groups or travel in groups, and reveal some warm pulses in the mighty, which is a refraction of modern people's aesthetics and protection of species ideas." Coupled with the setting of the mountain forest environment, it is suddenly bright and dark, looming, and also achieves smooth pen and ink, natural and appropriate, quite powerful. ”
According to reports, the exhibition is jointly sponsored by the Lu Yu Shao Art Institute, Suzhou Artists Association, Shanghai Shanghua Art Museum, Jiading Branch of Shanghai Democratic League Calligraphy and Painting Institute, and Juyuan New District Community Party and Mass Service Center in Jiading District, and the exhibition will continue until February 20 this year.
