Apple CEO Tim Cook was tracked for more than a year by "bastards," who claimed to be his wife

According to the CNN website reported on the 25th, Apple obtained a restraining order against a woman, who allegedly tracked, harassed and threatened the company's CEO Tim Cook for more than a year.

Later last week, Apple filed a court filing with the Santa Clara County Superior Court in California, saying a woman from Virginia exhibited "eccentric, threatening, and bizarre" behavior.

Court documents show that the woman was suspected of driving across the country in private contact with Cook and twice broke into Cook's home. She also claimed to be Cook's wife and said they had twins.

For more than a year, the woman threatened Cook directly via email and Twitter, including a photo of a loaded gun and a pack of ammunition. She also flagged Cook on Twitter and sent him private messages, suggesting she wanted a sexual relationship, saying she "couldn't live anymore" and "ran out of patience."

Between October and mid-November 2020, the woman sent nearly 200 emails to Cook that "visibly escalated in tone, becoming threatening and highly disturbing." In October 2021, she was detained by local police for trespassing on Cook's private property, where she allegedly told law enforcement officers she was "probably violent."

Court documents also noted that the woman tried to open a fraudulent business in Cook's name. Last month, she allegedly asked Cook for $500 million to "forget and forgive." Apple said the woman may still be carrying a weapon in San Francisco's South Bay area and "intends to return to Apple's CEO's residence or otherwise find him."

Apple did not immediately respond to requests for comment, and a hearing on the matter is scheduled for March.

Celebrities or celebrities being harassed by "bastards" (referring to people with extreme behavior and crazy styles among fans) are not new, but Cook has publicly declared himself gay as early as 2014, and it is indeed a bit puzzling that the woman is still so crazy to "chase stars".
