The movie "Chosin Lake" has continued to be a hit recently, and the scene in the film where Mao Anying, the son of Mao Zedong, took the initiative to go to the front line and finally sacrificed moved the audience. The "Battle of Chosin Lake" was of extremely great significance in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, "to fight with one punch, so as not to have a hundred punches coming." ”

According to a recent article published by the Hunan Media Red Network, many Hunan people came to the Shaoshan Martyrs' Cemetery to punch cards after reading "Changjin Lake" to trace the red mark and remember the revolutionary martyrs. Why? Originally, the Shaoshan Martyrs' Cemetery contained a bronze statue of Comrade Mao Anying, the eldest son of Mao Zedong, who died on the battlefield of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. In the movie "Chosin Lake", Mao Anying, alias "Secretary Liu" of the Volunteer Army Headquarters, died in order to rescue an important combat map a few days before the battle of Chosin Lake officially began.

In the Shaoshan Martyrs' Cemetery in Shaoshan City, Hunan Province, there are bronze statues of Yang Kaihui, Mao Zemin, Mao Zeqin, Mao Zejian, Mao Anying, Mao Chuxiong and other six relatives of Mao Zedong. Every Qingming Festival and Martyrs' Memorial Day, the cadres and masses of Shaoshan City hold commemorative activities here and present flower baskets to the bronze statues of martyrs.

Hu Aiyuan, head of the Shaoshan Martyrs' Cemetery Management Office, told Xinhua News Agency earlier this year: "Every year, many party members and cadres, teachers and students spontaneously come here to commemorate and mourn Mao Anying and other revolutionary martyrs and receive education in revolutionary traditions. ”

October 24 coincides with the 99th anniversary of the birth of the martyr Mao Anying.

Mao Anying was born on October 24, 1922 in Changsha, Hunan. He was the eldest son of Comrade Mao Zedong. On November 25, 1950, he died in the War to Resist And Strengthen The War to Aid Korea.

Xinhua News Agency published an article in May this year: At the age of 8, his mother Yang Kaihui was arrested and imprisoned, and Mao Anying was also imprisoned. After Yang Kaihui's death, the underground party organization arranged for Mao Anying and his two younger brothers to come to Shanghai. Later, due to the destruction of the underground party organization, the Mao Anying brothers lived on the streets. He had been an apprentice, picked up scraps, sold newspapers, and pushed rickshaws.

In 1936, Mao Anying was assigned to study in the Soviet Union. At first, he studied at military and political schools and military academies, and later participated in the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet Union, braving the rain of bullets and bullets to fight in the European battlefield. In 1946, Mao Anying returned to Yan'an and joined the Communist Party of China in the same year. In accordance with Mao Zedong's request to "make up for the lesson of the Labor University," Mao Anying carried out land reform in the Liberated Areas, did propaganda work, and served as a secretary. In the early days of the founding of New China, he served as the deputy secretary of the party committee of the factory Although he was the son of Mao Zedong, he never regarded himself as such, on the contrary, he always set strict demands on himself everywhere and mingled with the ordinary people.

In 1950, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea broke out. The newly married Mao Anying requested to join the Korean War and served as a Russian translator and secretary for the headquarters of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army. He worked actively, conscientiously and responsibly, and quickly became familiar with the business of the organ.

On the morning of November 25, 1950, U.S. Air Force bombers suddenly flew over the Volunteer Command and dropped dozens of napalm bombs. Mao An, who was working intensely in the war room, died heroically at the age of 28.

After Mao Zedong learned the news of Mao Anying's sacrifice, he forcibly endured the pain of losing his son and said slowly: "Fighting a war always requires the death of people." Chinese Volunteers have sacrificed the lives of so many commanders and fighters, and their sacrifices are glorious. Kishi is an ordinary warrior, don't take it as a big deal just because I'm my son. This is the sixth relative of Mao Zedong's family to give their lives for the revolutionary cause of Chinese people.

In the martyrs' cemetery of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army in Hinochang County, South Pyongan Province, North Korea, a 1-meter-high granite stone stands in front of the tomb, with the inscription "Tomb of the Martyr Mao Anying" on the front and the inscription on the back: "Comrade Mao Anying was originally from Shaoshanchong, Xiangtan County, Hunan Province, and was the eldest son of Comrade Mao Zedong, the leader of the Chinese People's Liberation Army."

In 2009, Mao Anying was elected as one of the "100 Chinese Things That Have Touched Since the Founding of New China" and won the title of "Most Beautiful Strivers". In Shaoshan, the story of Mao Anying is widely known. He Gejin, a scholar of local history in Xiangtan City, said movingly: "Bury your bones and need to be sangzi land, there are green mountains everywhere in life." As the eldest son of Mao Zedong, Mao Anying guarded his faith with his life, was loyal to the people and righteous, and grew into an excellent revolutionary fighter. Mao Anying is the pride of the people of his hometown, and we see revolutionary heroism and idealism in him. ”
