The most eye-catching event in the series of theme activities for the Spring Festival at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Guangzhou was the "Spring Man Bay Area - Invitation Exhibition of the Presidium of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Artists Alliance" exhibited at the History Exhibition Hall.

The exhibition brings together 20 famous artists from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and exhibits more than 30 works, including calligraphy, Chinese painting, oil painting, sculpture, etc., expressing the surging feelings for the mountains and rivers of the motherland.

It is worth mentioning that this exhibition has received widespread attention and support from the Chinese art community, and Xu Li, secretary of the party group and vice chairman of the China Artists Association, personally wrote the title of the exhibition. Also on display at the same time as the fine art exhibition is the "'Bay Yi Man Tang' Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Bonsai Fine Exhibition". When the art of painting and the art of bonsai meet and merge, the artistic conception of "three-dimensional painting, silent poetry" arises spontaneously.

The award-winning bonsai of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was exhibited for the first time in the History Exhibition Hall of sun yat-sen memorial hall, among which the rare kapok bonsai brought a unique Lingnan cultural and artistic enjoyment to the public and tourists.

Particularly eye-catching is the work "Spring Color of Mountains and Forests" presented in the form of elm trees and stones, which won the gold medal in the 2020 Shenzhen Greater Bay Area Bonsai Competition and the gold medal at the 2nd National Youth creative Bonsai Exhibition in Linyi, Shandong.

The work uses tree trunks to walk around the stones, in one go, growing branches on the original trunks of trees, planting trees, staggering high and low, gathering and dispersing decently, just like the beautiful forest scenery of the strange peaks and mountains, picturesque, a scene full of spring. During the Spring Festival, Guangzhou Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall will bring the "Intangible Cultural Heritage into scenic spots" cultural inheritance experience activities, through the promotion of China's excellent traditional culture, enhance the public's awareness of the protection of intangible cultural heritage.

The site has a special Guangzhou clay sculpture and Guangzhou paper-cutting on-site experience area.
