In traditional Chinese culture, the tiger has been regarded as a beast symbolizing courage, strength and wealth since ancient times, and also as the protector of the evil spirit of Fuzheng. For thousands of years, the Chinese people have admired the bravery and majesty of the tiger, worshiped the tiger and respected the tiger, included the tiger in the "Zodiac", and poured the image of the tiger into many elements of life such as clothing and clothing, architectural decoration, eating utensils, cultural relics and artworks, in order to pin the yearning for a better life.

The exhibition is divided into three parts: "Tiger Leaping Ten Thousand Years - Tiger in the Natural World", "Tiger in the East - Tiger in History and Culture", and "Tiger Walking in the World - Tiger in Folk Life", which aims to vividly show the audience the tiger culture that has a long history from ancient times and the present from multiple angles.

According to Guan Danping, the curator of this exhibition, the exhibition not only exhibits hundreds of pictures of cultural relics, specimens and artworks related to tigers in nearly 50 cultural institutions across the country, but also exhibits more than 70 pieces (sets) of physical exhibits of tiger cultural relics collected by the Anhui Museum, as well as more than 30 modern handicrafts collected from the Anhui Arts and Crafts Society.

Among them, the bronze statue of the dragon and tiger pattern of the dragon and tiger pattern of the earliest cultural relics of the era, the dragon and tiger pattern bronze statue (replica) of the earliest cultural relics of the era, the Fuhu-shaped jade tiger of the Spring and Autumn Period, and the "Statue of the Fuhu Venerable" by Ding Yunpeng of the Famous Figure Painter of the Xiuning Ren clan of Anhui province at the end of the Ming Dynasty.

It is worth mentioning that the works of the modern tiger painter Zhang Shanxiao's performance of Tiger Wei appeared one by one, and the best works of painting tigers cooperated by Zhang Shanxiao and his brother Zhang Daqian, a master of Chinese painting, also met with the audience in the exhibition.
