Klein Vision's AirCar flying car officially received an airworthiness certificate from the Slovak Transport Authority. Flying cars are only certified after more than 70 hours of testing, meet European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards, and take off and land more than 200 times. Powered by a 140-horsepower BMW 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, the flying car has a fixed propeller and a ballistic parachute capable of traveling at speeds of 170 kilometers per hour and at an altitude of 1,000 kilometers at an altitude of 2,500 meters.
