Sky: Newcastle is quoted at £30 million for Diego Carlos, £7.9 million away from the asking price

According to Sky Sports, Sevilla have told Newcastle that if they want to sign centre-back Diego Carlos, the latter must pay a transfer fee of 37.9 million pounds. To date, Newcastle has made the highest offer for Diego Carlos at £30 million.

Entering the winter transfer window, Newcastle, which is aiming for relegation and backed by a Saudi consortium, has signed England defender Trippier and New Zealand striker Chris Wood.
