Time back to 1974, Mr. Ding's brother was born in a rural area of Haining, Jiaxing, because Ding's father and mother, who were farmers at that time, had already had a son, and the arrival of the twins made the already poor family even more difficult.
Ding's mother searched for relatives and friends, hoping to raise one of the twins to people who knew the roots, but the nearby families were all rural families, and the family was not rich and did not have the energy to raise. But over time, not only did Ding's father's health deteriorate, but the two young children also became more and more emaciated due to malnutrition. Faced with the dilemma of life, Ding's father and mother still had to send their twin brothers to be adopted.
"We were poor in the countryside at that time, so before sending them to the city, I went around looking for intermediaries to introduce me, and I heard that a couple in the city was willing to adopt, so I wanted to send the child to the city to live a good life, but I didn't want to cut off the news from then on..." In fact, a few months after the child was sent to the adoption, Ding's mother regretted it, and she found a middleman to hope to hold the child back, but was rejected, and the other party said that the child was doing well and did not bother. Ding Mu had to give up, but since then, she has thought about this child day and night, and has left a piece of heart disease.
When the child was in her 10s, Ding's mother was once again determined to get her son back, so she went to great lengths to find the middleman's residence. However, this intermediary has suffered from Alzheimer's disease, and he can't remember which family took the child away, and since then the child has disappeared into the vast sea of people...

The Shandong police learned through visits to local villagers and verification with Feng Xiao himself that Feng Xiao was indeed not the child of his parents. It turned out that after Feng Xiao was adopted, his adoptive parents had always treated him as if they were his own, and after his adoptive parents passed away, his uncle told him his origins. Today, the 48-year-old Feng Xiao is also the father of four children.
"After knowing my origins, I also thought about going to my biological parents, but because I didn't know the specific situation at that time, on the one hand, I couldn't start, and on the other hand, I was hindered by years of estrangement, and I was worried about whether my biological parents were willing to accept me." Feng Xiao said that when the police told him about the beginning and end of his adoption, his heart was finally relieved, and he said that he could understand the pain of his biological parents and was willing to recognize them.
On January 24, the day before Xiao Chinese New Year's Eve, Ding's father and mother met the eldest son of the twins who had been separated for 48 years, and Mr. Ding finally met the twin brother who had never met before.
