Decided to recall all 2017 EF5 pure electric passenger cars produced between June 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017, with a total of 153 units, effective immediately.

The left and right output flanges of the main reducer of the vehicle within the scope of this recall are concentrated due to the unreasonable angle of the knife retract. Under extreme working conditions, the left and right output flanges of the main reducer may break, resulting in power interruption during vehicle driving, and there is a safety hazard.
According to reports, the recall was carried out under the circumstance that the State Administration for Market Supervision and Administration launched a defect investigation. Affected by the investigation, Jiangsu Kowloon Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. decided to take recall measures to replace the improved main reducer flange for the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
