One of the top ten archaeological discoveries on the mainland in 1996 was an unlucky legend about this ancient tomb among local Tibetans, believing it to be a 'tall building with a monster' and calling it a 'nine-story demon building'. The tomb belongs to the Tuguhun royal tomb in the early Tang Dynasty, and it is also the first Tuguhun tomb found in the mainland.

On the second floor of the excavated nine-story demon tower, the tower-like structure of the great tomb has been clearly revealed. On it, about 1 meter or so, a layer of cypress wood is used to make beams arranged neatly across the mound, and this layout is part-time like the current building, covering nine floors.
These cypresses are as thick as 60 centimeters in diameter, and no 200 years of such wood can grow. As we all know, in the entire Qinghai-Tibet region, cypress wood has no wood, it is impossible to use local materials, where does such a large number of cypress wood come from?
According to today's calculations, such a large tomb in ancient times when productivity was low should have taken more than 10,000 people to complete, and its scale can also be imagined.
