The studio designed the newly opened coffee shop, located in a space within the white house hotel's newly built green tower, which is described as a "cave form" according to its appearance.
The original structure of the interior space felt really hard and stunning before it was built.
The designer describes his design inspiration this way: "I decided to have an interesting feature, namely that the warm atmosphere of the interior space coexists with the unique stone feel of the cave entrance, by applying warm tones to the entire floor, countertops, sofas and furniture, but still utilizing the original concrete structure, including the columns and beams in the space." ”
The floor is made of a type of brick commonly found in the historic buildings of the front bridge, and the bar counter is plastered with stucco to complement its color.
The café's furniture was specially designed in collaboration with Karimoku Furniture, which also collaborated with Keiji Ashizawa Design at the Blue Bottle coffee shop in Tokyo's Shibuya district.
The café's lighting, as well as the details on the furniture, are made of copper.
"Based on the texture of the bricks and counters, we chose slightly shimmering copper for the luminaires and furniture, paper ropes for the entrance handles, and upholstery for the sofas, which are a collection of materials that feel and feel. ”
As with other Blue Bottle coffee shops, the location of the bar counter can be seen from the outside.

The coffee shop is stunning in its spatial design. The interior crisscrosses the concrete square columns that support the hill-like appearance of the exterior.
