A man stabbed a takeaway man to death in Manhattan's Chinatown and was arrested by police

New York police arrested a man living in Queens on Friday who allegedly stabbed a 51-year-old delivery man to death near Manhattan's Chinatown and then stole his bicycle.

Combining pix11 and amNY reports, police alleged that Joseph Sandoval, 23, murdered Sala Miah in the early hours of October 16.

It is said that at about 1 a.m. on the 16th, Mia was sitting on a bench on Hester Street in Roosevelt Park, Chinatown, Manhattan, and was attacked by Sandoval. Sandoval slashed Mia in the face, stabbed him in the abdomen, and then stole his bike.

Outdoor surveillance video recorded this cruel scene.

Police officers from the five substations received the report and came to the scene and found Mia lying in a pool of blood. Emergency workers took Mia to The Munvi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police sources said that when officers from the fifth substation of the city police arrested Sandoval, he was carrying a knife and his clothes were stained with blood. DNA tests concluded that the blood on the clothes matched the victim's blood.

Mamun Alah, Mia's brother-in-law, said his wife and two children live in Bangladesh. Mia is a loving husband and father who supports the family by delivering food deliveries in New York City. Mia's wife kept crying after hearing the bad news. Allah said she had nothing now.
